ETTEVALMISTUS: Mänguväljakule tõmmatakse kaks piirjoont vahemaaga 8-20 sammu. Ühe
piirjoone taga on üks mängijatest, "Heeringas". Ta seisab seljaga teiste mängijate poole.
Teise joone taga on ülejäänud mängijad.
MÄNGU KÄIK: Heeringas loendab kolmeni. Selle aja jooksul püüavad teised mängijad kiiresti
sammhüpetega heeringale võimalikult ligemale saada. Lugemise lõpus vaatab heeringas tagasi
ja sellel ajal peavad kõik mängijad seisma. Kes sellel ajal veel liigub, peab tagasi minema oma
maa-alale. Heeringas loendab taas ja taas vaatab tagasi, jne. Kes heeringat esimesena
puudutab, see on võitja ja on uus heeringas.

"Herring-herring, one, two, three", very easy and fun to play.
One of the children (leader) is facing the wall (or tree etc) and is saying "Herring-herring, one, two, three", in that time the others are sneaking closer. When the gameleader turns around, then they all have to freeze. The one, who moves, has to go back to startline. The first child, who arrives to the wall, is the new leader.
